If I were rich…

I’ve been thinking long and hard about this topic (a comment on society really) and I hate to even bring it up, but it’s somewhat important. You’d think it would be a “given,” but sadly it’s all too often overlooked or not even considered.

Okay, here it goes…if you’re of the “affluent variety” and you don’t have secret passages and rooms hidden behind revolving bookcases or ornamental knight armor à la Scooby Doo or Abbott and Costello movies throughout your home , then you really don’t deserve your wealth. I’m sorry, but it’s true. There I said it. That is all.

  1. Okay, so it’s not just ME… Then again, there’s always the vision of Gene Wilder being crushed — “Put…The…Candle…BACK!”

    • I loved that movie!! And yes, you’d have to have a safety feature that if you were squished, it would automatically re-open. Sort of like elevator doors…or at least how elevator doors are SUPPOSED to work. Either that or someone who could man the candle properly!

  2. LOL. If i ever find myself that rich, i will definitely have revolving bookcases and multiple secret passages. Maybe even a big reading chair that flips over to take me to a hidden floor of the house! 🙂
