Thanks go out to a myriad of family members for their service to this great country of ours…including no less than five uncles (4 of whom were brothers). But a very special thanks go to my Dad and my Brother. I have respect for you both in so many ways, this being just one of them. I love you guys. Thank you for your service.
A very nice post! Thank you for saying “thank you!” 🙂
If I remember right from past conversations, you were in the military as well, weren’t you? Marines I thought? So, I thank you too! I have much respect for those who have and continue to serve our country.
I am by far not tough enough to be a Marine! I was in the chair force though! 😉 lol
Ahhh…my memory fails me. LOL I could’ve sworn it was you. Thought we talked about it during a conversation we had about guns. Oh well. My mind is finally slipping I suppose. 😀
Well I am a veteran, just not a “warrior” per say. But it was probably me that had the discussion on guns actually. I have strong views on them. 🙂
Oh okay, so I’m not completely insane. LOL I thought you were a veteran. So again, thank you! 😀 I know it was definitely you with whom I had the conversation about guns. I just wasn’t sure about the military service. I had brought up my family being in the military then and I thought you had mentioned you being a veteran as well.
Yea I was making a joke. People consider the air force the “chair force.” It is a little branch humor lol.
Oh! I didn’t get it.I’m a bit dim on that humor. LOL I have an extended family member who is in the Air Force. He’s in the JAG office I believe.
I should have gone JAG heh.
My father fought in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Four of my uncles served, one in WWII and a grandfather that served in WWI. I am proud of my family. Thanks for posting this!
You should be proud! It is most definitely something to be respected. Thank you for reading and commenting!
You’re welcome
