Monday, oh Monday, I have to be honest with you. I dislike you. I dislike you very, very much. I’m sorry, it’s not me. It’s you. At least there is coffee to get me through. Ahhh…coffee – you hot, strong, sweet thing you. I love you so much, my dear coffee, that I’ll even forgive you for filling my head with such outrageous delusions of grandeur.
Sounds about right lol
😀
I have to insert “tea” instead of coffee, but it still produces the same illusions.
I love tea as well! Just depends on the mood.
coffee. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Man after my own heart! 😀
loved the description you used for coffee 🙂
Thank you, thank you! 😀
If you wanna take your coffee romance to the next level, pour extra heavy whipping cream right out of the carton into that java. It’s like the sex toy of the kitchen boudoir.
I usually put half and half and then top with extra creamy whipped cream, but I will try the heavy whipping cream (unwhipped!) as I imagine it is quite decadent! 😀 And I love the description! I mean, how can I resist that!?
Seriously, the sweet richness of heavy whipping cream (make sure it’s “heavy” whipping cream, not just the regular stuff) is mind-bendingly good. I was forced to used half and half a little while ago on the road and the disappointment was visceral. Hard to scale it back after your morning ritual has become as sensuous as drinking hot coffee ice cream. Bonus: On the same principle as Bulletproof Coffee, it fills you up more with a lower glycemic spike so you stay satisfied longer.
I like my coffee like I like my men….
(sipping it right now)
PS: I add two drops of pure vanilla extract to each cup like a love potion.
Lol!!! That dreaded Monday morning feeling!
And it happens every week. No fair. Just no fair at all.
Lol!!! Well at least its now coming up to that wonderful Friday Feeling!!!! 🙂
I never thought of coffee as being tantamount to being a politician or a bureaucrat.
Ha! That’s good!
