Victor Borge was a Danish/American jack-of-all-trades…he was a gifted pianist, a conductor, talented comedian, and a witty humorist – having written at least three books. Known as The Clown Prince of Denmark, he combined music and comedy to entertain his audiences in Europe and the U.S. Like the performances of Red Skelton and Jeanne Robertson, Borge’s humor is a go-to commodity for me when I need a laugh — they are all sure to deliver with just good old-fashioned fun. As we head into Friday, let me share my favorite Victor Borge skit. It’s well worth the watch. Enjoy.
Another skit that was two of my favourites was his Inflationary Language. It’s twoderful and not easy to fiveget.
very funny! had never heard of him until I watched this. x
He was best known for his musical comedy skits.
He was, actually, a very accomplished concert pianist. But he had a delightfully flippant sense of humor.
What a character! I’ve had many moments laughing with this man.
Me too. I love his style and humor.
