I have several under my ramp and do my bedt to stop dog and cst from pestering/chasing them. They are cute and remind me of the geckos living in our house in Saigon 60 plus years ago

That’s a fine looking skink you have there! We had a couple at the old house that would co-exist with the fence lizards and alligator lizards – but none of them got along with the cats or the crows.
