Sunbeams keep moving throughout the day, but perhaps Holly can’t be bothered keeping up.
I blame planetary rotation and celestial mechanics, both subjects which I assume Holly considers beneath her. If the stupid planet would just stop rotating (or if the sun would stop moving, if Holly’s still working in a Ptolemaic system) then she wouldn’t have to move like some peon to follow the warmth.
