Even in this part of the world, Christmas and snow are frequently depicted together, even though it’s the middle of summer. Old customs die hard.
It’s certainly been an odd year, with everyone in some form of socially isolating bubbles of various sizes. I really feel for those who are restricted to household sized bubbles over the festive season. Thankfully I’m part of a bubble of five million, so apart from some imported items being in limited supply, this season has been just like previous ones. I do hope that by this time next year, everyone will be able to have the festive season they desire.
