Daily Writing Prompt: Describe something you learned in high school.
The joy of group projects … it really was perfect practice for the real-world workforce. One person does all the work and everyone else takes the credit.
No inaccuracies detected. When I got my MBA they were obsessed with group projects and forcing us to learn how to work in teams. I get it, and it is a skill, but I always pointed out that in our case we could assume that everyone else on the team was reasonably intelligent, skilled, and motivated to succeed. It was different out in the real world where slackers abound wanting to hang on the coattails of others. I was told that it was my job as a leader and a manager to motivate the slackers to be superstars. (I held my tongue because I wanted to graduate.)
This is why I always hated group work! 😛
